For the summer program all specialty activities will take place in cohorts outdoors with instructors keeping a 6 foot distance and wearing a mask. Please refer to our Covid Parent Handbook for the safety measures which we will follow if required.
Crafting Mondays
Each week at camp we will introduce a new book which will teach us about a different Mitzvah. Our crafts and activities will also relate to the Mitzvah of the week so that your child will gain an appreciation for books as well as the Mitzvot!
On Crafting Mondays we will express our creative talents with a craft related to the Book of the Week. The crafts will be age appropriate and open ended to allow your children to feel proud of their work.
Sportball
With Sportball we work on developing children’s gross motor skills, physical strength and overall coordination which ultimately will enhance their confidence and self-esteem. All Sportball programs are taught in a safe, non-competitive, structured and fun format suitable for Toddlers and Preschoolers.
Kids in the Kitchen
What can be more fun than measuring cups, a whole bunch of eggs and a huge bag of flour (without Mom or Dad around)…?!!!
All ready in aprons, Kids in the Kitchen offers your child the chance to feel like a superstar. Complete with easy to follow picture recipes, their own utensils and ingredients to experiment with, every week’s theme will incorporate a culinary masterpiece!! Created, battered and baked (or burned) all by yours truly!
It’s fun. It’s creative. It’s a very proud and accomplishing oven opening moment… And it’s delicious, bowl-licking, mouth smackin’ times!!
Yoga
Yoga is designed to introduce your children to the wonderful world of movement, coordination and relaxation. The yoga instructor brings a variety of instruments and props which will get your children learning new Yoga poses and self regulation techniques while strengthening their motor skills!
Fridays at Kiddie Camp
Every day is special at Kiddie Camp but Fridays are extra special! On Friday each child bakes their own Challah to be brought home (or finished on the way home ;)!!
Each week we have an Abba and Ima who leads the Shabbat celebration. The whole Kiddie Camp joins together as we light Shabbat Candles, say Kiddush, eat Challah and sing our favourite Shabbat songs.
